About RechtX

About RechtX

What is RechtX?

A platform that helps people moving to, studying and working in Germany work out what to do and in what order. Over thirty guides covering visas, registration, housing, insurance and work, plus tools including a job search, a CV check and a set of calculators.

Who is it for?

Anyone arriving in Germany or planning to. Students, workers, families and people still in the visa process. It assumes you do not already know how German administration works, and does not assume you read German.

Where does the information come from?

Official sources: German federal authorities, the Bundesagentur für Arbeit, Make it in Germany, and the relevant legislation. Every guide shows its sources and the date each was last checked. Where a figure could not be verified, we say so rather than guessing.

Do you give legal advice?

No. We explain procedures and point you to the authority responsible for your case. For advice on your individual situation you need a lawyer, and we can help you find one.

Is RechtX connected to any German authority?

No. RechtX is a brand of Hexera UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a private company registered in Berlin. We link to official sources but we are not part of any government body, and no authority has approved or endorsed what we publish.

Which languages does RechtX support?

English, German and Arabic in full. Turkish, Ukrainian and Russian are available as previews and are less complete.

Credits and plans

Credits and plans

What is a credit?

Credits measure usage of the features that run on AI. The cost is shown before every action and your balance is in your account.

What does the free plan include?

Five credits a day, up to sixty a month. The guides, the authority directory and the calculators are free to use and always will be. Crisis and rights information is never behind a paywall.

What happens to credits I do not use?

Monthly plan credits do not carry over, except on Max where up to 100 roll into the next month. Credit packs you buy separately are valid for twelve months.

Can I change my plan?

Yes. Upgrading takes effect immediately and you are charged the difference. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

How do I cancel?

From your account, or at rechtx.eu/kuendigen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.

How do I delete my account?

From your account settings. This removes your personal data. Records we are required to keep under German law, such as invoices, are retained for the period the law requires. The privacy policy sets out the detail.
